Prescriptd is a medical app that offers instant access to your trusted primary care physician (PCP). You can get prescriptions to the most commonly treated conditions in a super easy, convenient, and quick way that beats any other healthcare company available.
What are the benefits of using Prescriptd?
24/7 access to common prescriptions without long waits, all at a fraction of the cost of a normal visit. In addition, your visit is with the same consistent clinic so your care and information is not scattered amongst numerous, random healthcare providers. You will receive the fastest, cheapest and most superior care all while supporting your primary care clinic.
How does Prescriptd work?
Select a visit reason, answer a series of doctor-designed questions, submit desired prescriptions for approval to your doctor for review and then once approved, pick up your prescription(s) from your pharmacy.
What treatments can I get through Prescriptd?
Treatments are currently focused on respiratory illnesses, cough, sore throat, Strep, Flu, exposure to Flu or Strep and UTIs. Additional visit reasons and treatments are continuously being added.
Can I get controlled substances through Prescriptd?
No. You will need a visit with your PCP for this.
Who should not use Prescriptd?
Pregnant patients, patients less than 18 years of age, patients with uncontrolled diabetes, and patients with a complex medical history involving numerous chronic conditions such as chronic kidney disease, congestive heart failure, chronic liver disease, etc.
What hours can I get a prescription?
24/7. From 8am-8pm, most prescriptions will typically be approved and sent to your pharmacy within 15-30 minutes. From 8pm-8am and on weekends, times vary per clinic but typically are approved within 1 hour.
How much does Prescriptd cost?
From 8am-8pm, visits are $25/visit. From 8pm-8am and on weekends, visits are $35/visit.
Can I use my insurance for a visit?
No. Prescriptd is a self-pay service that often times is no more than your typical copay.
Does my PCP have to be partnered with Prescriptd for me to gain access?
Yes. Your PCP is a vital component when it comes to Prescriptd and we believe your PCP needs to be partnered with us in order to effectively deliver the highest level of care.
How do I know if my PCP is partnered with Prescriptd?

If you do not see your clinic, you may submit the form below for us to reach out to your doctor. If you would like to gain instant access to Prescriptd, you may select a Prescriptd-affiliated PCP when creating your profile. You will be contacted by the clinic and they will help you to become an established patient so you are then able to gain instant access to Prescriptd benefits.

Will I always get a prescription when doing a visit?
If your symptoms are mild and do not warrant a prescription, you will receive supportive care recommendations and be refunded for your visit fee. If your symptoms are too severe, you will be given guidance to contact your PCP for further instructions and your fee will be refunded.
What happens if I encounter a problem using Prescriptd?
If you encounter a problem with Prescriptd prior to submitting your prescription(s) request, you may reach out to info@prescriptd.com for a response in 24-48 hours.
What happens if I encounter a problem with getting my RX from chosen pharmacy?
If you do not receive confirmation that your prescription(s) has been sent, please contact your clinic. If you encounter a problem after your prescription(s) have been submitted to your pharmacy, we recommend you first reach out to your selected pharmacy as they are likely to be able to fix the issue or transfer your prescriptions. If the problem is not solved, we recommend you reach out to your primary care clinic.
What do I do if my symptoms do not get better?
Symptoms for most conditions treated by Prescriptd should improve by 48-72 hours. If you have not improved by this window or your symptoms worsen, we recommend reaching out to your clinic for a live visit.
